At the regular meeting of the Orange lodge on Tuesday night at the close of the ordinary business session, an intermission was declared by the Worshipful Master and an interesting address was delivered by County Master J.C. He spoke in pleasing terms of the satisfactory progress the order was making, and cited as and evidences of the statement the fact that seven new lodges had been instituted during his term of office. The especially pleasing feature of the evening's meeting was the royal fraternal send-off tendered to Brother Jackson of Dorchester Lodge No 152 Several members of the local lodge spoke in terms of regret at the departure of Mr. Jackson and wishes he could have seen his way to remain permanently among them, but this could not be they feelingly wished him God speed a safe journey and a prosperous and happy life amid his former surroundings. Brother Wm. J. Fisher tendered several appreciated musical selections and Brother A. Davies sang acceptably.
