Edison Mr. Patuilo has been teaching in the Edison school since the month began, and is proving himself very acceptable to his pupils. Mr. Jos. Maloney had his wagon with his furniture and boxes of clothes and furs, burned while on his way south to Riviere Qui Barre, It is supposed that a spark from the pipe of the driver caused the fire. The whole was burned, nothing saved but the oxen and two cows. It is a serious loss. Lamont A.M. Munro, of Lamont, Mrs. S. Mclellan, of Beaver Creek; Mr. A.W. Valens, of Limestone Lake, and Miss. E. Champion, of Creekford, are attending the teachers convention.
