Red Deer Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Short left for Victoria on Monday where they will spend the winter months. H. Lawrence and family of Pine Lake were in town Thursday. They left for Vancouver on Friday's noon train. F.W. St. Clair, of Los Angeles, Cal., spent last week in town the guest of B.V. Lenton. Geo. W. Greene and daughter returned from London, England, on Sunday morning train. Miss Geo. W. Greene arrives on Monday having stopped a day in Calgary. H.M. Stephenson accompanied by his wife and son Walter, left last night for Vancouver for the winter. A.T. Paradis left last night for the Coast. J.H. Menzies and Capt. Cottenghaw left on Monday for Stettler where they will attend the fair and spend a few days in pursuit of the wily mallard.
