Rix are away on a prospecting tour north of Pigeon Lake, some twenty five miles from the city. Mayor MacEachern was a South Alberta visitor the latter part of last week and the first of this. Mr. West of Gleichen, who substituted for Mr. Millar, of the Bank of Commerce, has returned. Mr. N. Legge is still holding the fort at the Merchants in the continued absence of Mr. Todd. Coyotes are getting bolder, On Wednesday one was seen in the city near Sheriff Dickson's residence. Poor policy to let them feed on fat fowls.
