1062 EDMONTON DAILY NOV 05, 1907 MOTLEY, Randall PLEWES, E.B. BUCKELL, Mrs. SMONS, D.J. McCARTNEY, John GREEN, D. BENNETT, Dr. Winnipeg, November 5, Randall Montley was found not guilty of obtaining goods by false pretences from E.B. Plewes. The charge dealt with a number of drills, a quantity of shafting and steel to the value of $77.52. Being cleared on two indictments, the crown asked for a stay of proceedings on a charge of theft of proceedings from a charge of medals from Bert Yatee. The medals were in court and his lordship ordered them returned to their owner. The prisoner left the court a free man, again thanking his lordship as he left. Fort Saskatchewan Mrs. Buckell received on Friday last for the first time since coming to reside in the Fort in her pretty and artistic new home on Laurier avenue. Mr. John McCartney and family have removed from the West-end Restaurant on Inglis, avenue to the home lately vacated by Mr. D.J. Smons on Ross street; Mrs. Baeter?, who has been managing the Alberta Boarding-house on Griesbach street, has taken over the West-end Restaurant; Mr. D. Green and family have become domiciled in Dr. Bennett's house on Dennis avenue, and a little bird whispered that one of our young business man with his bride will ver soon occupy the house vacated by Mr. Green on Ross street.
