1206 EDMONTON DAILY NOV 21, 1907 TATUM, A.F.S. Mrs. SHANKS, Alma H. Miss. McFARLANE, Victor KELLY, R.M. LAMBERT, Mrs. McLEAN, Neil PAYZANT, Constable LOVE, Harriet Mrs. COPP, John Mrs. Mrs. A.F.S. Tatum, Bowden, nee Miss. Alma H. Shanks, came to the city yesterday afternoon on a visit to her parents. Victor McFarlane, a fifteen-year-old lad, was taken to the Public hospital yesterday and was operated on this morning. He is now progressing favorably. Early this morning Mrs. Lambert Henperman, of 257 Kennedy street, Norwood, was taken to the Public hospital for an emergency operation. She is in a critical condition. R.M. Kelly, late of the firm of Kelly & Mays, leaves tomorrow for San Francisco where he will join his wife, an din future reside. Today at noon he was entertained at luncheon by a few friends at the Club caf‚. A new police constable has been appointed to the city police force. He is Neil McLean, for four years on the Edinburgh force, and a fine specimen of manhood 6 feet 1 inch in height, He succeeds Constable Payzant on the Edmonton police force. The death took place this morning of Mrs. Harriet Love, after a short illness of six days, from pneumonia. The deceased was the mother of Mrs. John Coop, and the funeral will take place form her residence, 118 Elizabeth street, tomorrow afternoon at half-past two.
