Taylor and F.J. Hinpenman, of Mundare, came up yesterday and are registered at the St. James. T.W. Anderson the chief clerk of the Audit department of the C.P.R. is in the city on business a guest at the Cecil. L.L. Swartz, of Ohmaha, Neb., is in the city on a vacation and is looking over the vicinity for a suitable place to locate. Miss. Maggie Gourlay has accepted a position as stenographer in the law office of K.F. Ewing of this city. Miss. Gourlay took her course in Shorthand at the grand Trunk Business College. George Thompson; I have lived in an number of cities, both in Canada and the United States, yet I recognize Edmonton as the4 best of any for the investment of capital. I would not put one dollar out of Edmonton, because, I know no place I could invest it to better advantage.
