Cameron, Spokane, is a recent arrival, going to his farm about seven miles out. He will bring his family here in the spring. Rev. T.O. and Mrs. Wold and family, late of Camrose, left this week for the coast, where they will make their home in future. They are a will known and esteemed here and the district will feel their loss. Mr. And Mrs. Terry are the proud possessors of a new baby boy this week. The mother is still in the hospital but is doing well, as is the infant. J.H. Knight, architect, who prepared a very elaborate and complete set of plans for the new hospital, estimating cost at $12,500 on the advice of a prominent alderman, presented a brief of his claims to the last meting of the council. His claim of 2 percent, had been previously ignored but on his presenting a bill for only 1 percent on the estimated costs, in view of exceptional circumstance the aldermen offered him 4100 for his services. On Wednesday morning at 11:30 o'clock one of Wetaskiwin's most popular young ladies was united in marriage, by Rev. J.E. Hogg, to Dr. R.H. till of Edmonton. The bride was becomingly gowned in ivory honiton lace over duchesse satin. She wore the groom's gift, sunburst of pearls, and was assisted by Miss. May Gould, in pink colienne over pink silk. Mr. Harold Deeton, Edmonton, supported the groom. A reception was held at the home of the bride from 2 to 4.30 o'clock, when a large number took the opportunity of tendering their congratulations. Mrs. Bailey, Mrs. Compton, Mrs. West, Mrs. Hogg and Mrs. Richardson, the Misses Bailey, Swanson, Walker and Gould assisted. The happy couple left on the 5.30 p.m. train for St. Paul, Minneapolis, etc., after which they will spend a month or so at Guelph, Ont., with the groom's parents. The presents were very numerous and costly. The young people were given a rousing send off by a large number of friends. They will reside in Edmonton. Jno. Ross, inspector of public schools, was in the city on Thursday on his way to inspect Camrose School and paid the Alexandra School an unofficial visit. J.F.
