1506 EDMONTON DAILY DEC 23, 1907 CHADWICK, R.B. LEMARSHAW, Rene GALBRAITH, John HILL, C. R.B. Chadwick and Mrs. Chadwick leave tomorrow for the east. Mrs. Chadwick will visit Belleville, Ont. Mr. Chadwick will make a tour of inspection of the industrial schools, and reformatory of Ontario. Also some of the leading reformatories in the United states. Messieur et Madame Lemarshaw will leave for France on the 26th of December and will sail on the 2nd of January on the French steamer, La Provence. They will be absent several months, Mr. Rene Lemachard goes to France specially on business. Mr. John Galbrath will give an address to the Caledonian Society, next Thursday evening in Mechanics Hall, 3rd street, on "The Money Stringency, its cause and suggested remedy". He will use charts showing the factors in the production and distribution of wealth. On Friday evening, Jan 17, through the kindness of Mr. and Mrs. C. Hill, a social will be given at their house, Hill's view farm, Colchester, in aid of the new church fund. A good program consisting of songs recitations, games, competitions, miniature rifle shooting, etc. with an address by the Rev. J. Mason has been arranged for. Light refreshments will be served during the evening and an admission fee of 25 cents will be charged.
