Day was found to be the winner of the gold-headed cane. Mr. Eugene Chandler left today for a visit with friends in Kansas. He expectes to be absent a month. Mr. Mohler left on Wednesday to spend a holiday in Iowa. Reg. Wilkins has returned form college at Edmonton to spend his Christmas vacation with his parents. Miss. Grace Spencer has taken position in Williamson's jeweler store. Mr. Geo. Robinson has been appointed manager here for the North West Lumber Co., of Pigeon Lake, and looks after the shipping from this point. Mr. and Mrs. K.M. Williamson have rented the B.C. house, and will move in on Thursday, December 20th Rev. J.E. Hogg yesterday united in marriage Jessie Scoville, who has just arrived with her parents from Iowa and Jack McArthur, a homesteader at Surrey. The wedding was solemnized at the manse.
