French, proprietor and publisher of the Wetaskiwin Times, is in the city. E.G. Padden, of Calgary, is in the city on business relating to insurance and is stopping at the Castle. C.P. Sloan, a Calgary rancher, is in the city on a vacation, and is registered at the Windsor. Mr. W.R. Martin, Langham, the wife of the C.N.R. oil expert, is stopping at the King Edward. R.B. Wilson, of London, Eng. A newspaperman is in the city, and is a guest at the Alberta. J.Kyle, the master mechanic of the C.N.R. is in the city on a visit, and will eventually make his home here. F.G. Mortimer, of Athabasca Landing, is in the city to purchase supplies and is staying at the Queens. Commissioner A.B. Perry, of the R.N.W.M.P. arrived in the city last night and is a guest at the Alberta. S. Shepard, of Montreal, representing a wholesale drug firm, is in the city on business, staying at the Windsor. Miss. M. Brower, who has been visiting Mrs. H. Finch for the past few months, will leave Monday for her home in the East. H. Reading will have tonight to spend the winter months in the east, and will return in the spring when he will go back to Tete Leune Cache.
