BURDETT, E.L. HOLMES, Mr. ORKAY, Geo. H. Lloydminister Arthur Pollard has moved his office from Church Street to the Alberta hotel. Dr. Zimmerman, D.D.S, of Toronto, has opened up dental parlors in the Britannia hotel. Mr. C. Anderson has moved into the village with his family. Postmaster Lister reports the business of the office as being the largest in the history of the office at this time of years. The liberal mass meeting tonight in Masonic hall was a bumper. The hall was filled to overflowing. E.J. Ashton occupied the chair. On the platform ere Dr. Sparling, Mr. Gregory and Mr. Panton. Mr. Champaing wes not present owing to having another meeting at Mitoa, but was reporesented by Mr. Simpson. Mr. Livingsoton, K.C. , Mr. Clink all of south Battleford. Mr. H.C. Lyle, of town, closed the meeting with a very eloquent fifteen-minute address. W.P. Yeo is still confined to his bed, blood poisoning having developed in a very serious degree. He was reported better today, but is still very sick. Mr. R. Diffle is taking W.P. Yeo's place in Mr. Yeo's store during the latter's illness. Mr. E.L. Burdett has bought an taken over the general store business of Holmes & Griffiths. Mr. Holmes will retire from all active business in town but will continue to reside here. This will be good news to the people of the town by whom Mr. Homes is so universally respected. Geo. H. Orkay will address a meeting of the Liberals of Blackfoot Hill in that school house on January 1st. All Liberals are requested to be present.
