Washington During the past few days a large number of immigrants, British, Irish and Americans have arrived in the city and are awaiting the mild weather and disappearance of snow before going out into the country, either to select land for homesteading or to make purchases. There are about seventy immigrants at the Jasper Avenue Hall and about thirty at the new building on First Street. A large number of others are staying at the hotels or private boarding houses throughout the city. All those who have reached the city are of very superior class and will be a credit to their adopted land. Those who have arrived here during this week include the following (List Above)
