788 EDMONTON DAILY APR 12, 1907 COSWEY, Geo (George) Brandon, April 11, 1907 Geo. Coswey, A young man who has been canvassing for a local photographing firm, called at a residence here last evening. The door was opened by Mrs. Stokes, the occupant of the house, and after hearing the nature of the canvasser's business she tried to dismiss him. Coswey, however forced his way into the house and attempted an indecent assault on Mrs. Stokes. The matter was reported to the police, who soon captured their man. This morning he appeared in the police court and pleaded guilty and was sentenced to twelve months in jail with hard labour.
