1239 EDMONTON DAILY MAY 28, 1907 GORMAN, R.E. PERRAS, Jos. (Joseph) GONIN, Omer McNEIL, J.D. TASKER, Mr. HOPE, Cecilia Miss. R.E. Gorman has purchased the Alberta automobile business conducted by Wm. Olipahane on Howard Street. He will continue to run it as a garage and automobile agency. The Victoria Hotel at Morinville, formerly leased by Mr. Jos. Perras has been remodeled and is now managed by Mr. Omer Gonin, the proprietor. Mr. Gonin has a bus which meets the team regularly and reports that Morinville is in a flourishing condition. Immigrants continue to pour into Edmonton. The big hall on First street is full to overflowing and yesterday for the first time the officials were compelled to turn a few away. Large parties are going out every day. J.D. McNeil of Bellingham, Wash., has taken a lease on the store in the Philip's block on First street. Mr. McNeil will open up in the druggist and stationery business about July 1st. or as soon as the stock arrives. He is in the city completing arrangements. A fine exhibition of cinematography pictures was given at the Bijou last evening under the operation of Mr. Tasker. The management are to be congratulated in obtaining the services of Miss Cecilia Hope, a fine toned young soprano, who sang "Is there any room in Heaven for a little girl like me." Miss.
