At the Mounted Police barracks this forenoon Inspector Worsley 
dismissed the criminal charge of mischief brought against Telephore 
Menier by Frank Conlin. Two Pambaina Crossing neighbors. The 
former was charged with having shot a diseased horse which the latter 
had left at his stable.

Thos. Cragg arrived on last night's C.P.R. from Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Joe Lavigne, of Delnorte, was in the city yesterday.

G. Erick Brennan, of Ottawa arrived in the city yesterday.

Mrs. W.G. Rankin of Montreal, is registered at the St. James.

H.H. Lampman, who came in from Dunvegan on Sunday, left for St. 
Paul last night by the C.P.R.

J.H. Carlock Wilson, of London, Eng. Arrived in the city yesterday He 
is stopping at the Windor.

D. Lamey of the McLeod River district, is in the city today on a 
business trip.

C. Matheson, of the C.N.R.'s staff at Sakatoon, ws at the Brunswick 
yesterday. 

Dr. H.L. Russell and D.E. Russel, of Buffalo, N.Y. arrived in the city 
last night from the east.

J.M. Mcleod and family of Haverhill, Mass., are in the city stopping at 
the Castle

Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Blackburn, of Mannbille, are guests at the King 
Edward. They came on last night's C.N.R. Train.

W. Weidler, of Howard Lake, Minn., is having a look over the 
Edmonton district with a veiw to locating. 

Capt. Lander, of Agricola, arrived in the city last night. He has been 
some weeks on his farm, superintending extensive improvements, and 
is entirely pleased with its location and agricultural possibilities. He 
reports 100 acres under wheat, and is prospecting further land 
purchases in the district.
