The death took place yesterday of Mrs. Eliza E. Emblin, aged 57 
years. The funeral will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) 
afternoon from the family residence, Griesbach avenue to 
Stratcona cemetery. 

The book store recently purchased from T.J. Tipton, was re-
opened yesterday by the new firm under the firm name of Blain & 
Co. The members of the firm are Miss Christina Blain and H.F. 
Sandeman.

Dan Bissett, of the Stratconc footbal team, had the misfortune to 
sprain his ankle on Saturday evening, which will prevent his 
playing for several weeks. Mr. Bissett will be much missed on the 
team, as he was one of the stars.
