Harry RICHARDSON, Mrs. CHAPMAN, Miss. CHAPMAN, Nettie Miss. CHAPMAN, Belva Miss. Jas. K. Cornwall went to Athabasca Landing this morning. Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Tull and daughter have returned home after a vacation at the coast. Rev. Robert Holmes and family left this morning by the stage for Peace River Crossing. Mr. Holmes is a brother of Bishop Holmes, of Moosenee, Rev. R. Holmes, and Rev. K. Hathersall two Church of England missionaries from London, England, are in the city en route to the Peace River. Mr. William Pilkie, of Vermillion, came in by the C.N.R. express this morning, and was taken by the Red Cross ambulance to the Public Hospital. Mr. Pilkie is suffering from typhoid fever. His brother, C.H. Pilkie, who came to the hospital some time ago, also ill with fever, is making a good recovery. The death of Mr. W.H. Chapman formerly of London, Ont. occurred at his residence 867 Firth street yesterday morning. Much sympathy is extended to the family he leaves bereaved of whom the son, W. Harry Chapmannis a clerk in Winnipeg post office, and four daughters reside in Edmonton. Mrs. Richardson, Miss. Chapman, Miss. Nettie chapman, and Miss. Belva Chapman. The deceased, who was a man of most amiable Christian character, had suffered patiently with rheumatism for mor3e than twenty years. He had been in Edmonton little more than a year, and was seriously ill for the past three months. He was a member of Grace Methodist church, and the funeral, which will take place on Friday afternoon will be conducted by Rev. A.S. Tuttle, pastor of that church. The funeral is delayed to await the arrival of Mr. Harry Chapman, of Winnipeg, and a brother of the deceased, resident in Portland, Ore.
