Miss Lyle, of the teaching staff of Duggan street school, who has been 
visiting Calgary and Banff, returned home last night.

The stock and trade with two years lease of T.J. Tipton's bookstore, has 
been purchased by H.F. Sandeman and Miss. Christina Blain. Stock is now 
being taken, preparatory to re-opening the store.

Malcolm McIntyre and family leave this afternoon for Glasgow, Scotland, 
where Mr. McIntyre takes up his duties in connection with Canadian 
immigration work. By his removal Starthcona loses one of her best and most 
highly respected citizens.
