513 EDMONTON DAILY AUG 30, 1907 TURNER, G. Mrs. WINTER, Rose Miss. CHISHOLM, Thos. J. Toronto, Ont., Aug 29, early this morning Mrs. G. Turner, living at the corner of St. Clair avenue and Poplar Plains Road, was taken into custody by Toronto detectives charged with murder. The alleged victim was Rose Winter, aged twenty four years. She is said to have come to her death as a result of blood poisoning following a criminal operation. Mrs. Turner is a widow, 30 years old, and conducts a maternity home. The young Winter woman was an English immigrant and an orphan. She is said to have been in the turner home for a few days, dying on Sunday. Thos, J.
