Coulan, 819 First street died this morning and the body will be shipped this afternoon to Bathurst, N.B. Thos. Bennet, Eighth street, has some fine specimens of potatoes on view at the board of trade offices. He has grown these potatoes for seed purposes, importing the seed from England. Mr. Rene Lemarchand, before leaving for France in the near future, has bought several view lots on block 15, at the south-east corner of Victoria and Sicteeth street, and will erect there next spring a handsom apartment house, to cost at least $40,000. The house will be unique in that it will have a clock tower with the clock dials lit by electricity. Mr. Lemarchand expects hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest for French capitalists.
