Porter, accountant of the Merchants Bank, returned yesterday from Medicine Hat, where he spent his holidays. W.C. Cowell, of the Dominion Land office returned on Tuesday from a two week visit at Content. Mr. and Mrs. Roy H. Trout, of Backfalds, were in Red Deer yesterday. It is reported that C. Reid contemplates building a large addition to the Windsor hotel, the present accommodation being inadequate. The addition will extend west from the hotel, and will contain about twenty more rooms. It will be compelted before Christmas. R. Slinger, of Coutent, was in town last week for a few days. Mr. and mrs. A.E. Short, of Pine Lake, have been in town for the past week. F. Wyer, has purchased J. Goghlin's share in the Coghlin-Louiselle barber shop. J. Loiselle is spending a week in the city of Edmonton. E. Martin and family leave next week for Edmonton, where they will spent all winter. T.F. Ellis, W.A. Cassells and Art Decston shot forty-nine ducks in the vicinity of town yesterday. There were only four teale amongst them. g.p. Calkins, of Alamo, Indiana is in town looking over farm property. H.B. George, of the Bank of Montreal Calgary is spending a week's holiday in Red Deer with his father Dr. Henry George.
