Ottawa Sept 4 the militia Gazette just issued announces 
the appointments of 
WILLIAMS, A.S. Col C.D., as inspector of cavalry, 
LESSARD, Col
HEMMING, T.R. Lieut Col is appointed chief staff officer 
in eastern Ontario of R.C.D. vice Williams
FLETCHER, William Lieutenant-Col of the 3rd Cumberland, 
is appointed Brigade-Major of 17th infantry. 
POTTER, E.A. Major has been appointed lieutenant-colonel 
to command the regiment. In the 90th regiment, Winnipeg 
rifles, 
BELL, William George is to be paymaster, with the 
honorary rank of captain vice
WRIGHT, V.J. Retired
MANCHESTER, J.W. Lieut. is permitted to resign his 
commission in the 90th.
