Calgary Man Heads Producers 

EDMONTON, Jan. 8 (CP)-- Claude Homan of  Calgary was elected chairman of the 
Alberta division, Western Canada Produce Association here Wednesday. The post has been vacant since the death of Fred Wells of Edmonton. H. L. Hunter of Edmonton was named vice-chairman and L. F. Borchert of Calgary as Alberta member of the western Canadian board.
Provincial poultry commissioner, C. W. Traves, told the meeting that poultry was 
Alberta's fourth largest industry last year with a turnover of $22,000,000.
