Naturopaths Name Officers

Frederick E. Parsons, of Calgary, was elected president of Naturopathic Association of Alberta at its first annual convention recently, in the Palliser hotel.
R. C. Hess was elected vice-president, and Fionia Skakun was named secretary-treasurer. Both are from Calgary.
THE CONVENTION marked the passing by the provincial legislature of the Drugless Practitioners Act on March 31 of this year. The act requires that all drugless practitioners in the province practising naturopathy, physio-therapy or massage, to register with the provincial association under the act. Previously, the association, formed about 3 1/2 years ago, was operated under the Societies Act.
Dr. D. M. Skakun, of  Calgary, who formed the association in 1944, was made an honorary president for life.
