Girls' Work Board Holds Annual Rally In Edmonton

The annual meeting of the Alberta Girls' Work Board was held recently in Edmonton at Central United Church. Mrs. A. S. Wood of Calgary was chairman.
Reports indicated a total of 2,938 g
irls in 277 groups throughout the province. Local boards are promoting C.G.I.T. in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat and the executive secretary has held conferences, rallies and leadership training course in the Peace River district, Athabasca and Olds. Twenty-two camps were held during the summer with an attendance of 1,200 girls.

vice-chairman, Mrs. T. W. Lawlor, Grand Prairie; third vice-chairman, Mrs. H. Lewis; secretary, Mrs. W. R. Shearer; chairman of camp committee, Miss Eva Jagoe; finance committee, Mrs. J. C. MacLennan and Mrs. W. R. Shearer; personnel, Miss Jagoe; and representatives to the Religious Educational Council of Alberta, Mrs. Wood and Mrs. J. Gilmour.
