North Hill United Reports Good Year 

M. V. Anderson Sr. was elected chairman and P. C. Haymes was named recording secretary at the annual meeting of 
North Hill United church Wednesday. Rev. J. L. Pottruff, rector, was in charge.
All reports for 1947 showed that the year had been successful. The membership now stands at 968 persons and the total congregational revenue for the year was $14,993. T
he missionary and maintenance fund raised $928, a substantial increase over 1946.
THE WOMEN'S organizations also reported a good year with the senior W.A. raising $1,368, the W.M.S. receiving $202 and the junior W.A. collecting $519.
The total enrollment of the Sunday School, including the School of Regal Terrace was reported at 456.
Elected to the session were: E. L. Himmelreich, Thomas Birchall, H. W. McTavish, A. P. Jenkins, H. W. Johnston, O. L.Webb, R. L. Harper and W. H. McKay.
MEMBERS ELECTED to the board of stewards were A. H. Warren, Albert Paterson, William Sherriffs, Norman Scott, William Donaldson, John W. Copithorne, A. E. Henderson, O. S. Hutcheson, James Moffat, J. Stuart Neil and Ray McLeod.
More than $4,600 has been raised by the organ committee toward the fund for a new memorial pipe organ which will be installed in the autumn. O. H. Hoover is chairman of the committee.
