Volunteers Make Church Repairs

Extensive repairs to Trinity United church, including redecorating of the main auditorium and the floor of the gymnasium and Sunday school, have been largely completed through voluntary labor, according to a report read at the annual meeting Wednesday.
In addition to local contributions to the building fund, the Calgary Presbytery of the
United Church of Canada raised $6,000 for the church. All reports showed "encouraging" increases in membership and finances.
BESSIE BENTLEY of Calgary, a missionary in Trinidad for 19 years, was appointed part-time deaconess for the
Trinity-Bowness charge under the Women's Missionary Society. The meeting expressed appreciation to the W.M.S. for their assistance.
