Acme Installs O.E.S.

ACME, Jan. 8-- On the evening of Dec. 29 members of Acme Chapter
O.E.S., No 83, entertained their husbands and members of Acme Lodge A.F. and
A.M., when they held an open
installation of officers followed by a social evening.
Sister Winnifred Goodrich as worthy matron was assisted
by Sister Edith Carlyle as installing marshal.
THE FOLLOWING officers were
installed: W.M., Sister Mary Marik; W.P., Bro. Ray O. Davis; A.M., Sister
Frances McCulloch; A.P., Bro. Matt Carlyle; secretary, Sister Edith
Carlyle; treasurer, Sister Annie Purvis; conductress, Sister Doris
Siewert; A.C., Sister Lavina Bates; chaplain, Sister Catherine Wheeler;
marshal, Sister Doreen Carlyle; organist, Sister Pearl Fowler; Adah, Sister
Helena Young; Esther, Sister Elizabeth Scown; Martha, Sister Olga Lien;
Electa, Sister Gladys Webb; Ruth, Mrs. Margaret McMillan; warder, Sister Effie
Sutherland; sentinel, Bro. C. Siewert.
SISTER E. PARK acted as
installing marshal when Sister Carlyle was installed as secretary.
On Jan. 6 the W.M. Sister Mary Marik presented the past
W.M. Sister Mary Pearson with the past matron's jewel. Bro. R. O. Davis, W.P.,
presented Bro. S. Siewert with the past worthy patrons' jewel.
In recognition of her work as worthy matron, Sister Mary
Pearson was presented with a traveling case.
