Officers Elected By Rebekahs At Annual Rally

EDMONTON, March 15 (CP)-- Mrs. Jessie Morden of Lethbridge was elected president and Mrs. Elsie Graham of Calgary vice-president of the Rebekah Assembly of Alberta at the 38th annual meeting which concluded here Friday.
Other officers elected include Mrs. A. Day, Calgary, secretary; Miss E. Kidd, Calgary treasurer; Mrs. Lefevre, Medicine Hat, conductor; Mrs. I. Nuttall, Lethbridge, inside guardian; Mrs. Lowe, Lethbridge, musician.
AN ADDRESS OF welcome to visiting Rebekahs and Odd Fellows was given by Mayor Harry Ainlay  of Edmonton at a civic reception. Mrs. Morden brought greetings from the Rebekahs.
Five members received the degree of chivalry awarded for outstanding work in their respective lodges. T
hey are Mrs. N. Huntingford, Wainwright; Mrs. E. Kennedy, Nanton; Mrs. L. Fisher, Three Hills; Mrs. B. Peterson, Three Hills, and Mrs. R. Dawson of Calgary.
Cavell Rebekah Lodge of Riley placed first in the competition for the Davies cup with a 99.4 percentage. Tied for third position were Unity Rebekah Lodge of Edmonton and Dominion Rebekah Lodge No. 41 of Lethbridge with 97.9 points each.
