Farthing Heads Red Cross Again

Hugh Farthing, K.C., Calgary barrister, was re-elected president of the Alberta division of the Canadian Red Cross Society at the annual meeting in Lethbridge Friday.
Other officers elected were Elmer E. Roper, M.L.A., Edmonton, first vice-president; Ernest McLean, Calgary, second vice-president; John D. Dower, M.B.E., Edmonton, third vice-president; Dr. A. W. Park, Calgary; Mrs. E. G. Mason, Calgary; Norman Ritchie, K.C., Lethbridge; J. E. Davies, Medicine Hat; J. P. Evans, Athabaska; James McMillan, Calgary; Mrs. R. Procter, O.B.E., Edmonton; W. H. Chappell, Blairmore; E. Bennion, Picture Butte; Mrs. A. G. Ayres, Red Deer; W. A. Church, Medicine Hat, and W. A. Austin, Didsbury, all district vice-presidents.
Mary Pinkham, O.B.E., of Calgary, is honorary treasurer; Col. F. C. Jamieson, K.C., of Edmonton, and Mr. Farthing are honorary solicitors, and Lt.-Col. D. H. Tomlinson, M. B.E., is provincial commissioner.
