Miss Hilda Smith Installed As Lodge President

Miss Hilda Smith was installed as president of the Daughters of England Lodge Loyal No. 94 at a meeting recently in the I.O.O.F. Temple. Prior to the business session a banquet was held.

William Oliver, district deputy of Lethbridge, assisted by Mrs. Emily Luxford, grand guide, and Mrs. Leonard Sykes, grand chaplain, installed other officers: vice-president, Mrs. Alice Larson; secretary, Mrs. Frank Bealing; recording secretary, Mrs. S. A. Diett; guides, Miss Jean Hall, Mrs. Thomas Wilcox, Mrs. Louisa Swanberg and Mrs. Harry Hansford; chaplain, Mrs. Arthur Rogers; pianist, Mrs. Georgina Owen; treasurer, Mrs. Edward McMahon; outside guardian, Mrs. Fred Calow; and inside guardian, Mrs. Ada Hutt.
On behalf of the members, Miss Smith presented a gift to Mrs. William Oliver and Mrs. Alice Larson gave a gift of silver to Mrs. Beatrice Giott, past president.
