following officers of the Evening Star Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star have been installed at Okotoks for 1948:

Turner Valley; assistant matron, Mrs. P. Wedderburn; assistant patron, William H. Jenkins; 
secretary, Miss M. E. Quinn; treasurer, Mrs. H. D. Carr; conductress, Mrs. Frances Imler; assistant conductress, Mrs. A. Chalderwood, Turner Valley; chaplain, Mrs. J. Hemsworth, Turner Valley; marshal, Mrs. F. Stewart; organist, Mrs. E. M. Maplebeck, Turner Valley; Adah, Mrs. P. Powys-Lybbe, Turner Valley; Ruth, Mrs. I. Murray; Esther, Mrs. L. Fulton, Turner Valley; Electa, Mrs. J. Herr; warder, Mrs. L. Wedderburn; sentinel, J. C. Imler.
The retiring matron is Mrs. Hartley of 
Turner Valley, who leaves shortly to reside in South America.
