Reports Indicate Record Year Held By Auxiliary

Mrs. N. R. Williams was re-elected president of the Al Azhar Ladies' Auxiliary to the Shrine Hospitals for Crippled Children at the annual meeting held Monday afternoon in the Al Azhar Temple.
Reports showed a record year had been completed with $1,600 raised and a monthly increase of five per cent in membership over the previous year. Mrs. T. W. Cuyler gave a resume of the year's activities which included eight meetings, a pot-luck luncheon for wives of new Shriners, the annual spring tea, a picnic at Bowness Park for the auxiliary's young crippled wards, and a Christmas party in December at the Temple when 30 gifts were purchased for the children. A rummage sale and dance were new projects which were successful.
TWO CHILDREN have recovered sufficiently to return to their homes from the Shrine hospital, Mrs. Cuyler stated. The purchase of orthopedic shoes and other supplies was made.
Officers elected for the coming season were: Honorary president, Mrs. Frank Fulton, Indus; past president, Mrs. Roy Buckley; vice-president, Mrs. S. W. Cameron;  secretary, Mrs. T. W. Cuyler; treasurer, Mrs. Gordon Goodison; directors, Mrs. R. Lamont, Mrs. H. B. Macdonald, Mrs. H. D. Tomkins, Mrs. George Wilson, Mrs. H. E. Dail and Mrs. J. C. Goodfellow; social service, Mrs. B. J. Charles; social conveners, Mrs. George Evans and Mrs. Fred MacDonald; sick and visiting, Mrs. J. T. Atkinson and Mrs. George Lomas; corresponding secretary, Mrs. A. W. McKechnie; and tea hostesses, Mrs. E. J. Friend, Mrs. C. H. Seal and Mrs. G. Bracken.
A CORSAGE OF flowers was presented to Mrs. Frank Fulton by Mrs. Williams and gifts were given to Mrs. S. W. Cameron, retiring social welfare convener; Mrs. A. Ellis and Mrs. W. Kimball, retiring social conveners; Mrs. H. J. Griffiths, retiring corresponding secretary, and to monthly hostesses, Mrs. E. J. Friend, Mrs. C. H. Seal and Mrs. G. Bracken.
