Miss E. M. Russell Initiated Into Lodge 

Mrs. R. W. Long, who succeeded Mrs. Robert Dick as worthy mistress of Unity Lodge No. 357 L.O.B.A. conducted the initiation of Miss E. M. Russell at the January meeting held recently in the I.O.O.F. hall. Mrs. A. H. Horton captained the degree team and Mrs. F. J. McIntyre assisted at the piano.
nual reports of Mrs. J. H. Ellingson and Mrs. J. T. Rae dealt with the financial standing of the lodge, while Miss Julia Bailey reported on membership and benevolent work.
An invitation was sent to the 
Calgary L.O.B.A. past-mistresses club to pay a fraternal visit at the March meeting of Unity Lodge and to assist in conferring the scarlet degree.
Refreshments were served by
 Mrs. Hilda Biggar, Mrs. D. N. Barker and Mrs. Bertha Dundas.
