Women's Group Assists Hospital

CRANBROOK, B.C., Jan. 23-- Three 
major gifts-- a set of four all-purpose beds, a baby incubator and a Nesbitt combination operating table were added to the St. Eugene Hospital during 1947 by the non-sectarian Ladies' Aid to St. Eugene Hospital. Funds raised through two major projects amounted to $1,345.65 and cost of the gifts was $827.05. The 1948 balance was reported at $267.18.
FIRST 1948 gift is a diathermy machine costing $625.50.
Mrs. H. E. Osborne was re-elected president of the aid, with Mrs. M. McCrindle and Mrs. A. C. Blaine vice-presidents, Mrs. C. J. Little treasurer. Mrs. Harry Dorris is secretary, replacing Mrs. P. S. Goulter, who went to Calgary.
