Highlanders Elect Officers

George Jones was elected president of the Calgary Highlanders' Association at a recent meeting of the group in the Calgary Armories.

 Ted Marshall was elected vice-president, Thomas Donald, treasurer and Harry Duffin, secretary. Committee chairmen for the ensuing year include H. V. Nattall, publicity; L. J. Rosling, social and entertainment and J. Fred Scott, K.C., and D. K. Robertson, welfare.

CORRESPONDENTS were named from various towns and cities to keep the association informed of the activities of its various members. They include, Joseph Farley, Banff; L. Low, Cardston; Douglas Wolfe, Coleman; Robert Stoker, Edmonton; C. T. Grover, Hanna; Ross Ellis, High River; Max Wynn, Innisfail; F. O'Rourke, Lacombe; J. M. Duncan, Lethbridge; Al Baker, Medicine Hat; Sherwin Robinson, Olds; Frank McPhail, Peace River and Vern Stott, Vancouver.

 Plans are currently being made for a re-union, later this year, of all former officers, N.C.O.'s and men of the regiment.
