Mrs. D. A. Hanson Heads H.S.A. Council 

Mrs. D. A. Hanson was installed as president of the Calgary Council of Home and School Associations  at the annual meeting recently in James Short school. Mrs. A. N. Hutchinson, provincial president of the Alberta federation, installed the new officers.
OTHERS ON the slate are: First vice-president, Mrs. Mary Hart; second vice-president, Mr. Peter Aumonier; third vice-president, Mrs. J. A. Ritchie; fourth vice-president, Mrs. Henry Bradley; recording secretary, Mrs. Charles Harrington; corresponding secretary, Mrs. K. O. Berge; treasurer, Mrs. G. A. Webb.
Executive members are as follows: North of the Bow River, Mrs. William Campbell and Mrs. A. G. Stagg; south of the Bow River to 17th Ave. W., Mrs. George Ellinson and Mrs. Edward Quail; south of 17th Ave., Mrs. E. J. Johnson and Mrs. J. A. Pogue; honorary life president, Mrs. A. M. Curtis; honorary life vice-president, Mrs. A. S. Dewis.
MRS. W. M. PECOVER, retiring president, was presented with the council's past president's pin and a gift in appreciation of her work.
Mr. James Lamond was soloist, accompanied by Baroness de Villenfagne at the piano.
