CLAYTON HARE will conduct the Mount Royal college junior symphony orchestra in a program before the Calgary Women's Musical club, Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in Wesley United church. Youngest member in the orchestra is 11 years old and the oldest is 19 years but half the members range in age from 14 to 16 years. The orchestra itself has won the highest marks of any orchestra in festivals in Calgary for the last three years.
Following is the orchestra personnel:
First violins: Marion Evans, concertmistress; Annicy Patterson, Kenneth Perkins, Mildred Gorton, Marion Paulence, Donald Erb, Betty Dudas, Margaret Matyas, Mae Summers, Carol Swanson, Albert Stein, Hazel Jones, Joyce Ferguson.
Second violins: June Meadows, principal; Gordon Cool, Naomi Maddocks, Harry Hill, Doreen Sawicki, Jack Boulton, Patsy Switzer, Roy Wright, Eddie Rownyi, Genevieve Bradley, Norman Forsgren, Glenda Goodfellow, Dolores Westwell, Eddie Payne, Mike Kumlodi.
Viola: Catherine Cushing (senior orchestra).
'Cellos: Walter Myers, Georgina Lovegrove, Judy Fraser.
Flutes: Joan Munro, Randall Diaper.
Clarinets: Verne Trevoy, Neil Manning, Garry Stephens.
Trumpet: Arthur Dee.
