In 1932, T. M. Carlyle, father of Grant, also served as Kiwanis president.

The eights directors elected at a luncheon meeting in the Palliser hotel were: A. F. Baines, L. F. Borchert, Ed W. Deeves, C. P. Holloway, M. L. Jacques, William R. Little, J. A. Mather and N. K. Smith.

The rest of the executive will be elected from the ranks of the new board of directors at their next meeting.
