Church Group Holds Election

CLARESHOLM-- Final plans for the pre-Christmas doll bazaar and tea, to be held in the Recreation Hall on November 29, were made at the meeting of of the United Church Junior Women's Association. Mrs. E. L. Pitt gave the devotional, assisted by Mrs. Walter Wiig.
Mrs. J. F. Hamshaw reported on the fall presbytery rally held in Carmangay. A committee volunteered to fill bags for the Christmas concert.
Mrs. W. C. Johnston and Mrs. Pitt will arrange the program for the December 12 meeting, which will take the form of a party. The Explorers group, under the direction of Miss Virginia Beaubler and Miss Gainer Wiig, was granted permission to have a candy booth at the Recreation Hall in conjunction with the tea and bazaar.
MRS. GORDON NEALE, chairman of the nominating committee, brought in the slate of officers who were elected as follows: Honorary president, Mrs. W. G. Dalton; past president, Mrs. W. C. Johnston; president; Mrs. William Webber; 1st vice-president, Mrs. K. G. Donaldson; 2nd vice-president, Mrs. W. M. Hodgson and re-elected were: secrtary, Mrs. Gibbi and treasurer, Mrs. J. F. Hamshaw.
