Master Plumbers Elect Officers 

The Alberta section of the National Association of Master Plumbers and Heating Contractors of Canada recently concluded a three-day convention at Banff, with a registration of over 135 persons.
The convention expressed concern for the present unregulated use of propane gas. The association in conjunction with the labor unions (representing the skilled mechanics) and the appliance manufacturers have drawn up a bylaw on lines following that used for the installation of natural gas.
Elected as officers for 1953 were: Chairman, J. Anderson, Calgary;  vice-chairman, Charles Anderson, Edmonton; secretary, E. W. Deeves, Calgary; treasurer, R. K. Hole, Edmonton; directors, W. Watson, Calgary; R. L. Hay, Edmonton; C. E. Edgar, Fort Macleod; James Smith, Olds; J. Findlater, Camrose; Glen Cannam, Stavely.
