Calgary C.G.I.T. Installs Executive

The 1953-54 executive of the Calgary C.G.I.T. council was installed at the second fall meeting held recently at West Calgary United Church.
Mrs. Betty Thompson, last years sponsor, was replaced by Miss May Nutt. Miss Barbara Berry, retiring president, presented Miss Marcia Blackwell, the new president, with a booklet pertaining to her duties.
Miss Margaret Meyers reported to the girls on the conference held at the Olds Agricultural school on Thanksgiving weekend.
Miss May Nutt talked on the theme for the year, which is "Councillor-- Reach Upward." Miss Doreen Bayne led the girls in a worship service and the sing-song was carried by Miss Joy Pepper.
