St. Michael's G.A. Elects Darlene Mitchell As New President

Miss Darlene Mitchell was elected president of the Girls' Auxiliary of St. Michael and All Angels Church at the annual meeting held recently, when Mrs. Reg. Wright, the leader, presided.
Other officers elected were: vice-president, Miss Marion Hewitt; treasurer, Miss Marilyn Smeal; secretary, Miss Marleen Hornberger; Clarion secretary, Miss Bonny Bolt; press, Miss Jeanette Edgar; council representative, Miss Sybil Wright; telephone, Miss Fay Versteegh; sick visiting, Miss Joan Bewick.
Miss Carol Barnes, provincial health and recreation supervisor, will organize physical education classes; Mrs. William Orr will direct handicrafts; and classes in a St. John home nursing course will be taught by Mrs. K. I.  Vine.
Christmas card samples were distributed and a Halloween party was planned with St. Gabriel's Girls' Auxiliary as guests.
