Activettes Instal Mrs. Harry Johnson As New President

Mrs. Harry Johnson was installed as president of the Calgary Activettes at the group's first installation banquet held Thursday at the 400 Club. She succeeds Mrs. Irl England.
Mrs. England presented Mrs. Ken Anderson and Mrs. Pete Levis with a gift in appreciation of their efforts in organizing the club a year ago. Members assisted with the home show, Christmas card stuffing, and radio auction to raise funds to enable the club to place safety signs in the school zones throughout the city. They also presented Christmas gifts to the cerebral palsied children.
Mrs. Len Tilley won the draw. Miss Una Young and Mrs. Frank McNarney entertained with dance numbers and Mrs. Lew Mather gave a narration of Bessie Formsby.
Other officers installed by Mrs. Irl England were: Mrs. Dave Cunningham, vice-president; Mrs. Andy Andrew, secretary; Mrs. Ray Culley, treasurer, Mrs. Bill Brown, entertainment convener; Mrs. Duane Barr, projects; Mrs. William Cardiff, activator; Mrs. E. Mayhood, friendship;  Mrs. Pete Levis, log keeper.
