American Women Re-elect As Head Mrs. V. J. Moroney

When the American Woman's Club held its election of officers recently Mrs. V. J. Moroney was re-elected president for a second term. She and the following executive slate will be officially installed at the annual May luncheon.:
Mrs. E. O. Abbott, first vice-president; Mrs. Ed Armey, second vice-president; Mrs. Merl N. Jones, recording secretary; Mrs. Wayne A. Phares, corresponding secretary; Mrs. H. A. Banks, treasurer; Mrs. J. R. Puttergill, assistant treasurer; Mrs. Wilbur McNeill, chairman, domestic science; Mrs. George Lamont, secretary-treasurer, domestic science; Mrs. T. G. Millar, chairman, arts and crafts; Mrs. G. W. Coppock, secretary-treasurer, arts and crafts; Mrs. K. A. Olson, chairman, travel; Mrs. W. L. Falconer, secretary-treasurer, travel.
The meeting was preceded by a short talk on safety and fire prevention by Mr. Lou J. C. Marks, fire prevention officer. A discussion was held regarding new members and a special effort is to be made to see that they become better acquainted with all club members.
New chairs have been purchased, all other furniture renovated and repaired and new rugs laid which has greatly improved the appearance of the clubhouse.
A card party is to be held in the clubhouse on Wednesday for members and guests.
