Knights Elect New Officers 

CAMROSE-- At the regular meeting of the Knights of Columbus, Camrose Council No. 3437, June 25, the following officers were elected for 1953-54: Grand Knight, Y. R. Francoeur; deputy grand knight, Victor Baisch; chancellor, T. H. Dundon; warden, J. O'Brian; advocate, Mark DeGrace; financial secretary, C. F. Daley; treasurer, Leo Klug; recording secretary, Dan Crawley; inner guard, Peter Stang; outer guard, Peter Eberhardt; trustees, R. C. Bowman, Adam Klug, A. W. Smith.
The annual summer initiation of Camrose council was held in Camrose high school Sunday. A special mass was held at St. Francis Xavier Church, at which over 200 Knights  assisted. Following breakfast, 70 candidates registered for initiation at the high school.
AMONG the 400 Knights attending the initiation were visitors from Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Bashaw, Lloydminster, and Stettler. The exemplification of the degrees was followed by a banquet in the Parish hall at which 275 were seated.
The speakers included Very Rev. P. F. Harrington, who welcomed the guests and Mr. Ansbert of St. Joseph's College, Edmonton. His subject was "Our Lady and the Conversion of Russia."
