Toastmistresses Receive Charter 

The Coronet Toastmistress Club received its membership charter at a meeting held recently at the 400 Club when guests were members of the Calgary Toastmistress Club. President Mrs. G. H. Hiett accepted the charter presented by Mrs. G. F. Hinds, representative of International Toastmistress Clubs.
Mrs. J. C. Scott, topic mistress, led a discussion on "Should the man or the woman be 'the head of the home; students of Jean Murdoch School of Dancing presented dances. A comic radio skit was presented by Mrs. Ralph Johnson, Mrs. Gordon Sproule, Mrs. Loren Johnson, Mrs. J. D. Aikenhead and Mrs. Vera Kingsep. Greetings were extended by Mrs. A. E. Ornburn, president of the Calgary Club and congratulations from the International officers were read by Miss Margaret McDonald.
MISS FLORENCE HERON, assisted by Mrs. D. H. Mackay, installed the following officers: president, Mrs. G. H. Hiett; vice-president, Mrs. J. C. Scott;secretary, Miss Margaret McDonald; treasurer, Mrs. B. Winters; club representative, Mrs. Doris Wilkerson. Mrs. H. T. Bailey represented Mrs. Winters who is ill.
Among the guests of honor were Mrs. G. W. Worrall and Mrs. Russell Clark.
