DRUMHELLER-- The members of the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Lodges gathered here in large numbers Monday at the joint installation of the Golden RuleRebekah Lodge and Drumheller Lodge, I.O.O.F., held in their new hall.
Nora Grieve was installed Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge by D.G. President Mrs. Ellen Poxon, with Mrs. David Jones as D.G. Marshal. Other officers installed were: Mrs. Margaret Smith, I.P.G.; Isabelle Hansen, V.G.; Angeline Vockeroth, recording secretary; Francis Grieve, treasurer; Peggy Schrock, financial secretary; Mrs. William Forrester, R.S.N.P.; Mrs. William Samuels, L.S.N.G.; Mrs. Robert Goett, conductor; Emily Kennedy, warden; Mrs. Olive McCracken, L.S.V.G.; Mrs. George White, R.S.V.G.; Mrs. Edith Hubble, chaplain; Mrs. Ellen Honan, I.G.; Florence Benny, O.G.; Mrs. Isobel McLean, color bearer.
ROBERT GOETT was installed noble grand of Drumheller Lodge I.O.O.F. by Lou Oates, D.D.G.M., with David Jones as D.D.G. Marshall. Other officers installed comprised: George Ford, I.P.G.; Arthur Maxwell, V.G.; John Utley, recording secretary; G. C. Duncan, treasurer; Lou Oates, R.S.N.G; Bruce Wade, L.S.N.G.; E. Shaber, warden; Archie Wason, conductor; Tom Manning, R.S.V.G.; Peter Johansen, L.S.V.G.; T. C. Tarrant, chaplain; Arthur Court, I.G.; JohnMarshall, O.G.
These lodges are looking forward to their banner event in many years when Grand Master of the Order, Dr. A. E. Shore and Grand Lodge officers will be present here Jan. 26 to dedicate the new I.O.O.F. hall.
