High River I.O.D.E. Elects New Officers

HIGH RIVER-- Spitzie Chapter of the 
I.O.D.E. at High River honored Mrs. Thomas Bishop and Mrs. Alan Purvis of Calgary on the occasion of their visit at the February meeting here. Mrs. Bishop is second vice-president of the provincial chapter, and Mrs. Purvis is assistant organizing secretary. 
Mrs. Louis Bradley, retiring regent, was presented with a gavel, the gift of the two 
provincial officers, and Mrs. T. C. Michie, provincial organizing secretary.
ELECTION of officers resulted as follows: regent, Mrs. Lorne B. Frey; first vice-president, Mrs. Louis Bradley; second vice-president, Mrs. Tom Paterson; secretary, Mrs. O. W. Clarke; treasurer, Mrs. Gene Eaton; Echoes secretary, Mrs. Clarence Paul; councilor, Mrs. Charles Hicklin; educational secretary, Miss Margaret Thomson; standard bearer, Mrs. Monie Golightly.
A St. Patrick's dance on March 17 will be convened by Mrs. Lois Bradley. The story hour may be resumed if interest warrants it.
The March meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Clarence Paul. Pictures were shown.
